The Maltese singer Glen Vella has been awarded with the Special Jury Award at the Golden Stag 2009. This is yet another feather in the cap of the team working behind the Maltese artist. Fleur Balzan and Paul Giordimaina won the first prize at the same competition in 2004 with Eleonor Cassar.Claudia Faniello also took part in this year's edition of the Golden Stag, however she did not qualify to the final round. Glen Vella took part in the final stage of the competition with 'All I am' written by the Balzan/Giordimaina duo.
