On August 22, the grand celebration of the wedding of Ani Lorak (Ukraine 2008) and her fiance Murat took place in Belek, Turkey. Formally, the couple registered their marriage a week ago in Kyiv’s Palace of Registration of Civil Status Acts. That is why the solemn ceremony in Turkey was rather to celebrate the union of Karolina and Murat and please the numerous guests that gathered in the evening on the pier of Adam & Eve Hotel.
The guests – the total of around 200 people – were welcomed by the young girls dressed as angels. The following Ukrainian celebrities came to congratulate the newlyweds: Lilia Podkopayeva, Oleh Lysohor, Dmytro Klimashenko, Volodymyr Virchis and Ostap Stupka with their spouses, Viktor Pavlyk, sisters Anya and Alina Zavalski. The Ponomaryovs, who were vacationing in Turkey at the time, also joined the guests at the wedding.
A visit on the following day of Russian star, former participant of ComedyClub Timur Rodriguez was a pleasant surprise for Ani Lorak. The musician who recently recorded a passionate duet with the Ukrainian singer flew to Antalya directly from a concert.
Many stars congratulated the newlyweds via phone: Filip Kirkorov, Ruslana Lyzhychko, Dima Bilan. Andrey Malakhov sent a touching text message and Sofia Rotaru sent a huge bouquet.
The ceremony began at around 8:00 pm. The guests drank cocktails at the charming sounds of violin and cello. The musician played the everlasting hit of Frank Sinatra My Way. The groom appeared first and then the bride made an entrance in a magnificent dress from designer Ekaterina Shakhovskaya with a five-meter train decorated with Swarovski crystals and a bouquet of tender white roses.
The ceremony was held in two languages – Russian and Turkish. The process of presenting presents to the married couple took 1.5 hours.
The newlyweds danced their first dance to Whitney Houston’s hit I will always love you. And then Murat took the stage. It turned out that he prepared a present for his beloved – a famous song of Elvis Presley “You Are Always On My Mind”. The wedding ended with a passionate belly dance performed by Turkish dancers joined by the groom and the bride and grand fireworks.
“I will wake up tomorrow and realize what really happened today. Now, I am simply enjoying the moments and it is a great pleasure for me that you all came to share my joy with me and I am so happy to see you all here,” admitted Karolina (real name of Ani Lorak).
