On the 23rd of November, Lisbon will be hosting a Tribute show celebrating the 45 years of history of “Festival da Canção”. A group of Eurovision fans are planning to make the night a victory celebration for those who represented the country abroad, but also the singers, the hosts and the musicians that had competed in the Portuguese national selection to the Eurovision Song Contest.“Teatro Tivoli”, located in the city-centre of Lisbon, is ready to host the show that according to the organization will seek to re-create an evening with lots of music, memories, tributes and fun. Several former participants confirmed already their participation and many others are expected to confirm in the next few days. The event will be organised in association with “Casa do Artista”, an institution of social charity that provides services to elderly artists.
