The first Hall of the Civil Court temporarily upheld an application for prohibitory injunction against the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports, regarding a Malta Eurosong 2010 regulation. Grace Borg, believed that a Malta Eurosong 2010 regulation which specified that artists, composers and authors must be of Maltese nationality (or holding dual citizenship) was unjust and not in line with EU regulations.
The court, presided over by Mr Justice Joseph Micallef, upheld the application temporarily and put the case for hearing on November, 24 at 09:30am.
