The selection of the Maltese Eurovision entry for Oslo will kick off next week!Phase one of the festival will be held on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th December when all the entries submitted will be sung ‘live’ in front of a jury. Out of these entries, 36 will make it to phase two of the festival and will again be interpreted ‘live’ in front of another jury on the 7th of December.
The 36 songs in the second phase will also be presented to the public during the TVM programme SFIDA. On a period of six consecutive programmes, between the 9th of December and the 13 of January 2010, six songs will be interpreted each week so that, besides being voted by the jury, the public will also give its preference, through televoting, to select the 20 finalists.
