The organisers of the Malta Hit Song Contest would like to announce the 15 entries which qualified for the finals of the Malta Hit Song Contest 2010. These entries will also take part on 'Celebrity Sundays' on ONE TV every Sunday afternoon from 17:45 onwards, starting from Sunday 10th January.The 15 finalists are shown by the index number order and not by placing:

Should any of the 15 entries withdraw from the competition, one of the following two entries from the reserved list will replace them:
A. Just tell me - Marilena Farrugia
B. Hysterical - Joanna Attard
The panel of music critics commented that the overall level of this year's entries is higher than previous editions. They also noted that there were a number of entries which had powerful singers but lacked in music or lyrics, so failed to make it through this round.
The entries were judged on music, lyrics, voice & interpretation, song production & arrangement and the 'HIT' factor. Judges were focused on finding the 15 entries which have the potential of becoming Malta's next HIT SONGS during the coming year 2010.
Songs will be previewed on CELEBRITY SUNDAYS kicking off on Sunday 10th January at 17:45 on ONE TV. The final night of the Malta Hit Song Contest 2010 will take place on 30th April 2010.
