Claudette Pace - Born on 8th
February 1968, Claudette has studied jazz at
music conservatories in both Germany and
Italy. She is well
known both as a successful singer as well as
a popular television host and producer.
Claudette Pace represented Malta at the
Eurovision Song Contest 2000 with the latino-pop
song 'Desire' written by the Borg/Vella duo.
This Fall, Claudette will return to the
national tv broadcaster with the third
series of the talent show - SFIDA.

1. What were
your dreams as a child? Did you ever wish to
become a singer or you thought of another
career?
It's funny but I don't remember wanting to
be anything in particular as a child but my
mum tells me that I was always singing using
my hairbrush as a microphone :)
2. Are you more like your mother or your
father?
My voice is identical to my mum's but my dad
used to sing and play the saxophone.
3. Rich and famous .... or .... poor and
anonymous?
Oh dear, it would be so proper to say poor
and anonymous but how can I ... Rich and
famous 4. What is
your idea of heaven?
A place where you eat without putting on
any weight!!
5. What has been your greatest challenge
so far?
Motherhood!
6. What was your funniest experience with
a fan?
This lady screams in my face: "Waaaaa
aren't you Claudette Pace?"
David (on our
first date): "Didn't I tell you that you look
like her?!" - that's why I married him :)
7. Are you a shopaholic? If so, which
shops do you visit mostly?
NOT at all.
8. What makes you angry?
Child abuse, Intolerance and half truths,
amongst others.
9. A 'YES' you're sorry you have
said.....and a 'NO' you're proud you have
said?
I'm sorry I said YES to commitments I could
not keep. My proud NO was to Cocaine - many
years ago.
10. Which
career do you see yourself doing apart from
the one you're already doing?
Motivator.
11. Which is
your favourite word....and least favourite?
ALWAYS vs NEVER :)
