1. What were your dreams as a child? Did you
ever wish to become a singer or you thought
of another career? Eleanor:
Singing was my dream since childhood. I took
it more seriously at the age of 11 when I
started taking singing lessons. Eventually I
took part in various young talent contests
and moved on year after year to much more
prestigious festivals, both in Malta and
abroad.
2. Are you more like your mother or your
father? Eleanor:
I think I'm a
mixture of both, as it should be. I'm
sensitive like Mum and I`m
more like Dad in my way of thinking.
3. Rich and famous .... or .... poor and
anonymous? Eleanor:
Rich and famous will do . thank you!
4. What is your idea of heaven? Eleanor:
A peaceful place, where there are no
troubles and wars ... somewhere you re
always happy.
5. What has
been your greatest challenge so far? Eleanor: I can
think of when I did my own live concert in
2005, were it involved lot of work and
preparations to have everything right on the
night. However I can’t forget about when I
participated in the Golden Stag
International Song Festival in Romania 2004
where I managed to win the Grand
Prix!!
6. What was your funniest experience with
a fan?
Eleanor: I was abroad for a
competition and we were out shopping (as
usual) the day after the competition which
had been transmitted live. I could see that
someone was pointing at me and talking about
me.
I later
realized that the person had seen the show
the night before and recognized me but he
was in doubt cause I was so small (in
height).. I guess this is a situation when
the camera does lie and although they
recognize my face, on camera they don’t
realize how small
I am!!
7. Are you a shopaholic? If so, which
shops do you visit mostly? Eleanor: Of
course!!! mostly clothes, shoes, make up
8. What makes you angry? Eleanor:
People who lie and are double face!
9. A 'YES' you're sorry you have
said.....and a 'NO' you're proud you have
said? Eleanor:Ain`t sorry for a Yes. No ... when I said no to
smoking :-)
10. Which career do you see yourself
doing apart from the one you're already
doing? Eleanor: I
like dancing and drama very much, so perhaps
I would still be on a stage.
11. Whis is your favourite word....and
least favourite? Eleanor: Love & Hate

Everyone!!! I may not know you all by name
but I thank you for being so important in my
career. I know that a lot of you support me
and it’s you all I keep in mind every time I
walk out on stage, both locally and even
more when abroad when I feel I am carrying
the flag for all of us. We may be a small
island but we’re big in talent and at heart
and that is something that is important to
me as I know it is to any other singer.
