NADINE AXISA - Nadine was born on the 12th August 1981. She is a Maltese born singer and TV personality.  She is establishing herself as Malta's female voice for contemporary Swing, Jazz and Blues. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Physics. She works as an Air Quality Control Officer.

1. What were your dreams as a child? Did you ever wish to become a singer or you thought of another career?

Music was always my passion from a very young age. I also wanted to learn a musical instrument but school education took over at the time.

2. Are you more like your mother or your father?

A bit of both I guess!

3. Rich and famous .... or .... poor and anonymous?

Well it's a hard choice. I don't like extremes so I abstain!
 

4. What is your idea of heaven?

The place I look forward going to when my life ends. It's exciting to know that I'm going to meet my Creator and enjoy His presence for eternity!

5. What has been your greatest challenge so far?

Well life is a continuous challenge. The most intriguing years were at University.

6. What was your funniest experience with a fan?

A man who kept requesting a kiss on his birthday... He wouldn't take no for an answer! :-)

7. Are you a shopaholic? If so, which shops do you visit mostly?

Not really. I do most of my shopping abroad when possible, I visit shops which sell comfortable clothes such as H&M.

8. What makes you angry?

Arrogance, lies and indifference. I've learnt to be more patient though in the past years.

9. A 'YES' you're sorry you have said.....and a 'NO' you're proud you have said?

I have no major regrets and I thank God for that. It's human to make mistakes in life, the important bit is to learn from them and avoid repeating them.
 

10. Which career do you see yourself doing apart from the one you're already doing?

Something dynamic and exciting, but which would not disturb my singing activities. Maybe teaching!

11. Which is your favourite word....and least favourite?

Favourite word: grace (It gives me courage and reminds me of God's infinite love to mankind)
Least favourite word: hate
