ÓExclusive interview by

1. Your
real name is Tamara Diane Wimer. How did it
change to Isis Gee?And is the name 'Isis' somehow
inspired by the goddess from EgyptianMythology?
When I first met my husband, he said that I
reminded him of Isis... that Ihad her strength and healing
qualities when he looked into my eyes. Mymusic is created from Love, passion
and deep feeling. I hope to inspire andencourage people, touching their
hearts with the Love and purity of music.
And our last name begins with the
letter G which is where the name Gee camefrom.
2. As the songwriter of your own entry, 'For
Life' - can you please tell usmore about the theme of your song and
what inspired you to write it? Andwas it intended for the Eurovision
Song Contest?
I believe that we are all inspired by Love.
So for me, writing this songout the Love I feel for my husband
was as natural as breathing. I wrote"For Life" nearly a year ago. It was
not intended as a Eurovision songentry, as I did not know of the
contest until we very humbly receivedhundreds of emails from fans
encouraging to submit a song. For Life wasalways very dear and close to my
heart. I do hope to touch people deeplywith itıs message... which is
ultimately about Universal Love on the
deepestlevel.
3. 'For Life' has all the elements of a
power-ballad which can easily hitthe American charts. (Maybe Steve
Dorff's influence is still leaving itseffects in your songwriting). Will
you eventually market your song as a newhit single in Europe - going beyond
the 'Eurovision' boundaries? And areyou planning a follow-up single?
I am so flattered by your kindness. For me,
I just wish to touch peopleshearts through music. To help them
feel and listen to their hearts, toreignite or perhaps awaken feelings
that they may have forgotten about ormisplaced. Very humbly people around
Europe are calling For Life thewedding song of the year, which is
such an honor. I am just so happy thatpeople enjoy the song. I am in the
process of recording a new cross overalbum which will ultimately embrace
the feeling of 'For
Life' and wish toshare it with as many people who will
open their hearts to it.
4. You have also taken
part in beauty contests including the
preliminaries for Miss America. Do you feel
that 'looks' play an important role in
today's music industry? And will this be an
asset for your participation at the
Eurovision Song Contest?
Thankfully, the Miss America pageant is
not known as a beauty pageant, but as a
scholarship pageant. It was an amazing
opportunity for me to earn financial
resources for college... along with
increasing self esteem, with an emphasis of
expanding knowledge of the world we live in.
In my humble opinion, I feel that the music
industry has reached an exhausting peak of
focusing too much on peoples looks. I do
hope that this will ultimately change and we
can get back to real music with a profound
message that goes well beyond how short your
skirt is or how much you shake your body.
It's about the music and this should be able
to speak for itself, regardless what you
look like.
5. At the age of 19 you toured with a
Jazz-trio and featured on two jazz albums.
What made you switch your music-genre back
to the contemporary pop from jazz?
Because I was raised listening to and
performing so many different styles of
music, it was very natural for me to embrace
music on every level. Jazz was something on
the musical journey to becoming the artist I
am today. I have always gravitated toward
songs with good, strong choruses that people
can sing along to, so I would say that I am
home musically and as a result...Elegant Pop
is where my heart truly is.
6. Last year you issued your debut album,
'Hidden Treasure'. Do you think this album
helped you breakthrough the Polish music
industry too and it eventually paid off by
winning the Polish national final this year
with the support of the Polish televoters?
I think that it was a combination of the
Hidden Treasure album, good radio and tv
support, along with my participation on
Dancing with the Stars. To me, it is such an
honour to be able to touch peoples lives in
a positive way through entertainment.
7. Can you please tell us something about
your preparations for theEurovision Song Contest and what are
we to expect from your stageperformance? Will you have the string
musicians, which featured in thevideo clip, on stage?
As like all of the contestants, we are
rehearsing and preparing a nice stageshow for the audience. We hope to
touch peoples hearts with anunforgettable angelic feeling. At the
moment, I canıt tell you all of thespecifics... but we believe that the
performance will provide a very Lovingclimate.
8. Who is designing your 'Eurovision'
dress? And will you carry on stagethe idea of the 'Bride' similar to
your 'For Life' video clip?
We have a wonderful designer working on
something we believe to bespectacular. I will leave the details
for you to see on the stage :)
9. What is your opinion about the other
entries taking part in this year'sEurovision Song Contest? And do you
have some favourites, apart fromyourown
entry of course?
I believe that each and every artist
involved has something truly wonderfulto bring to the Eurovision contest.
Isnıt it amazing how much talent existsin the world? I feel so honored to be
amongst all of them, as well as totake part in such an amazing contest.
10. What
do you think about the Maltese entry,Vodka and our singerMorena?
I think Morena is great. You can sense that
she has a lot of passion in hersong.
